This article presents the software draft for the internal MMS management. The reception phase (the only one implemented by default on the device) can be summarized in four steps:

1. MMS binary notification received;
2. Obtain the URL from this notification;
3. Download the contents, via GPRS, from the AIR carrier server;
4. Decoding and Web publishing

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) allows mobile phone users to send and receive multimedia content that includes text, images, audio, video clips and graphics. This MMS appliance will automatically decode the incoming message, trasmitted in SMIL format into standard Web documents.
